Home / Lagos Life / Build a game like it

I want to build a game like Lagos Life. I'll build it with you.

Lagos Life proved that a browser game rooted in real city culture can reach a million players in days. If you have an idea for your own city, campus, community or brand, I design and build it end to end: the game, the multiplayer world, the economy, the admin tools and the launch.

What I can build for you

Pick what you need. We can start small and grow.

Browser game, no install

Your game runs in the browser on phone and laptop. Players open a link and start playing, just like Lagos Life.

Accounts and characters

Sign up, login, age gate, player profiles and character creation.

Core game loop

Jobs, earning, spending, needs, rent, items and progression, designed around your city, campus or niche.

Shared multiplayer world

Live world state, chat and other players in the same space, built to handle traffic spikes.

In-game economy

Virtual currency, shops and optional payments through Paystack, with clear rules on what virtual money is worth.

Admin dashboard

Manage players, content, events and moderation without touching code.

Ads and brand spaces

Billboards and sponsored spots so your game can earn from brands.

Launch and support

Deployment, load testing, analytics, SEO for your game site and fixes after launch.

How we work together

  1. 1

    Free discovery chat

You tell me the idea, the audience and the timeline. I tell you honestly what is realistic.

  2. 2

    Scope and quote

A written scope, a fixed price and a delivery plan. No surprises.

  3. 3

    Playable prototype first

A small single-player version fast, so you can see and feel the game early.

  4. 4

    Build the shared world

Multiplayer, economy, admin tools and content, shown to you in regular updates.

  5. 5

    Test, harden, launch

Load testing, security checks and a launch plan for X and TikTok.

  6. 6

    Support and growth

Fixes, new features and scaling as players arrive.

Questions clients ask

Can you build a game like Lagos Life for me?

Yes, a browser life-sim with accounts, jobs, an in-game economy and a shared multiplayer world is within what I build as a fullstack developer. Your game should have its own city, theme and identity, not be a copy.

How much will it cost and how long will it take?

It depends on scope. A focused first version costs far less than a full multiplayer world. Message me your idea and I will send a written quote and timeline after a short discovery chat.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You bring the idea and the audience. I handle the design, the code, the hosting and the launch, and explain things in plain language.

Can the game make money?

It can be built with optional paid in-game currency and sponsored billboards or brand spaces. Reports say Lagos Life uses similar models. I cannot promise revenue, since that depends on your players and marketing.

Will it handle thousands of players?

I design for spikes from day one: caching, small live updates, rate limiting and load testing before launch. No one can promise a specific number without testing, so we test.

Who owns the game and the code?

You do. We agree this in writing before work starts.

How do I get started?

Message me on WhatsApp or use the contact page with your idea in two or three sentences.

Ready to start?

Send your idea in two or three sentences: who it is for, what players do, and when you want to launch. I reply with an honest plan and a quote.
