Case Study: A Homecare Brand Families Can Trust From Abroad

Brilliance Homecare Limited is a premium homecare agency based in Lekki, Lagos, delivering UK-standard personalised care across Nigeria, with a UK liaison office in London. Its promise is "Compassion. Professionalism. Trust."

I built the website that presents the agency to two very different audiences: families in Nigeria looking for care now, and Nigerians in the diaspora arranging care for parents back home.

The Challenge

  • Trust before a phone call: Choosing a caregiver for a parent is emotional. The site had to feel credible, calm and professional.
  • Serving the diaspora: Families in London or Houston need clear communication, UK contact details and updates they can follow from another time zone.
  • Many care needs, one clear path: Elderly companionship, dementia, stroke recovery, post-hospital recovery and live-in care each needed to be easy to find and understand.

What I Built

  • Dedicated service pages: Elderly Companionship, Stroke Recovery, Dementia Care, Post-Hospital Recovery and Overnight & Live-In Care, so each family finds the exact service they need.
  • Diaspora Care page: Positions the agency as a family's "eyes, ears and hands" in Nigeria, with daily WhatsApp photo or video check-ins, shift notes, unannounced care manager visits, and payment in GBP, USD, EUR or NGN with a London office handling UK billing.
  • Hospital & Discharge Support page: Explains bedside care during admission and the home transition after discharge: coordinating with doctors, medication schedules, written care instructions and home setup.
  • Pricing page without the guesswork: Three packages (Daytime Shift Care, 24/7 Live-In Care, Specialized Medical Rehab) with clear inclusions and a "Request Custom Quote" button on each.
  • Careers page with an application form: Four open roles across Lekki, Victoria Island and Ikoyi, and a form capturing role, experience and preferred shift, so the agency can recruit caregivers directly from the site.
  • Contact page with dual offices: Nigeria HQ and UK liaison office details, a direct message form that routes by service needed, operating hours and a floating WhatsApp button.
  • Trust signals: "Why Families Trust Us" section, testimonials from families in London, Houston and Lagos, headline stats and a "Watch How We Care" video.
  • Low-friction enquiries: Calls to action such as "Request a Personalised Care Plan", plus WhatsApp and phone numbers for both countries in the header on every page.
  • Mobile-first responsive design: Most families will first open the site from a phone, often from WhatsApp. On mobile the layout collapses to a single column, the menu moves behind a hamburger, and the WhatsApp button, phone number and main call to action stay in reach, along with a floating chat button.

Outcome

The agency now has a professional, search-ready website that explains each service clearly and makes it easy for a worried family, at home or abroad, to start a conversation on WhatsApp or request a care plan.
